Multi‑Skilled Engineer – FMCG Manufacturer

Salary: £57,699 per annum including shift premium

3‑shift pattern:
Week 1 – Mon‑Fri 7am‑3pm
Week 2 – Mon‑Fri 3pm‑11pm
Week 3 – Mon‑Thu 11pm‑7am

My client is a world leader in specialist high‑performance paper and packaging products, with over 40,000 employees worldwide. The organisation offers a secure, global environment and this role expands engineering capacity.

• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to an agreed standard, ensuring safe working at all times.
• Ensure all site assets are maintained to a high standard, meet site requirements and are reliable.
• Use SAP to capture all maintenance activities (training will be provided).
• Achieve engineering standards across the site by providing functional support and expertise.
• Perform on relevant Engineering KPIs.
• Apply a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work properly risk‑assessed for all activities.
• Ensure parts are booked out correctly to help control stock levels in stores.
• Work effectively as a team with the engineering team and production.
• Be flexible with working hours (shift cover, overtime).
• Have good communication skills.
• Have fault‑finding experience with good diagnostic skills.

• Apprentice‑trained engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC systems & automated machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.
