Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Yankton, SD

CW Suter Services is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our 100% employee owned HVAC and Plumbing business! To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to our Service Manager regarding training needs, inventory, etc.

• Install, service, diagnose and repair HVAC Systems
• Work on call to service orders that come in
• Go into commercial properties to service HVAC Systems
• Basic knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
• Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units
• Understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
• Willing to further knowledge of the HVAC industry

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• At least 2 years of HVAC experience (Negotiable for the right candidate)
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Advanced customer service skills
