Starting rate of pay: $18.75
$500 Sign-On Bonus
+$1/hr for night shift differential
Shifts availableNights, 6pm-6am, 4x4
What you will be doing- Implement, sponsor, and support all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.
- Operate equipment in the laboratory ranging from CNC sample preparation to tensile testing and, depending on the lab, OES spectrometry.
- Ensure compliance to standards on remaining manual processes not locked down through hardware/software upgrades.
- Escalate product quality and/or compliance issues to the Lab Supervisor as needed.
- Identify differences in testing requirements between industry and customer specific standards; flag issues that deviate from standards.
- Maintain 100% compliance to new data management and control standards; report issues to Lab Supervisor as required.
- Select products for tests at specified stages and evaluate qualities such as dimensions, appearance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics (temper, yield and tensile, elongation).
- Must be fluent in English.
- Experience using Excel to document or analyze data (preferred).
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
