Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Yankton, SD is currently seeking applicants for Operations/Lean Internships responsible for working within Vishay to achieve company goals.

This position is located on-site Yankton, SD. We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

• Identifies, develops, and implements improvements to processes
• Reports to management on project progress
• Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
• Attends meetings and works effectively with other staff members to resolve problems
• Researches, analyzes and compiles data for reports and creates presentations

• Student working towards a 4 year degree in STEM or Business Operations related fields
• Emphasis on Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and effectively with production
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Lean, Health & Safety, and Quality preferred
• Strong computer skills in MS Office
