We are currently seeking applicants for Operations/Lean Internships responsible for working within Vishay to achieve company goals.
Job LocationThis position is located on-site in Yankton, SD, on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake, where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.
What You Will Be Doing- Identify, develop, and implement improvements to processes
- Report to management on project progress
- Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
- Attend meetings and work effectively with other staff members to resolve problems
- Research, analyze, and compile data for reports and create presentations
- Student working toward a 4-year degree in STEM or Business Operations related fields
- Emphasis on Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and effectively with production
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of Lean, Health & Safety, and Quality preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
