Closing Specialist - Open to any First Dakota or Landera Locations
We are hiring a full-time Loan Closing Specialist to join our team. Prepares Landera and FSA loans for closing by following the established guidelines and performing the duties listed below. Hours include Monday-Friday 8-5.
Responsibilities- Review and understand closing requirements for each loan as provided by secondary market or loan committee.
- Enter loan information in database and keep updated to ensure current status of loan closing.
- Order and review title commitments, flood determinations, UCC searches.
- Resolve issues that may arise during review of above items.
- Work closely with secondary markets during loan review/closing process to ensure closing requirements are met.
- Work with 3rd party vendors including title companies, attorneys, closing agents and other lenders.
- Originate loan documents following program requirements.
- Disperse loan proceeds, run tickets, complete wire requests and verifications.
- Enter loan information into tracking systems.
- Prepare and scan loan documents.
- Order and review final title policy.
- Complete loan closing package for secondary markets and FSA.
- Provide backup to other closer(s).
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferably have a general knowledge of agriculture.
Office:
The work environment of this job includes interacting with others in an office setting, and the noise level is usually moderate.
Light:
The physical demands of this job include bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
