American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a non‑profit community hospital in Yakima, WA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency with skills including G‑tubes, trach care, chest tubes, and central lines.

Patient population includes ESRD/dialysis, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, pneumonia, COVID, UTI, CHF, AMS, ETOH, SBO, osteomyelitis, electrolyte abnormalities with remote monitoring, post‑op, and end‑of‑life care.

• Work in a 46‑bed Med/Surg unit (3E W) within a 226‑bed non‑profit Level III community hospital
• Proficiency with G‑tubes, trach care, chest tubes, and central lines required

• Schedule:
  
  12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on‑call requirements
• Floating to other Med/Surg units required
• First‑time travelers are welcome to apply with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Candidates may submit with a pending WA RN license, provided proof of application is included
• No scrub color restriction — any color is acceptable
• Clinical interview via Simpli Fi required, with final unit approval

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• At least 2 references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) required prior to start
