Charge Nurse RN or LPN

Position Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) – long‑term care facility in the Greater Yakima Area. Monday – Friday shifts with a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Full‑time employment.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies and determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current nurse license in good standing
• Typical candidates have 1 year of supervision experience in healthcare; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• RN preferred
