Position SummaryProvides clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic, client homes, or community-based locations such as schools. Responsibilities include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified clients.
Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday business hours; must work two nights per week until 7 pm.
Responsibilities- Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment to children, families, and adults using evidence‑based practices.
- Complete required documentation within specified time frames.
- Develop clinical treatment plans focusing on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
- Maintain encounters/productivity of 60 % of reportable/billable services.
- Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement to ensure services provided meet best practice standards and contractual requirements.
- Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi‑disciplinary meetings.
- Staff cases requiring specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required.
- Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary.
- Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources.
- Provide routine services and on‑call coverage outside of standard business hours if required by assigned program or team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other low physical exertion tasks up to 80 % of the time. Ability to drive with adequate vision.

Physical Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or related field eligible for clinical licensure.
- Two years of experience working with children, families, adults in a professional outpatient setting.
- Valid Washington driver’s license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State.
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability insurance provider.
- Operate from a strengths‑based perspective.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and documentation skills.
- Provide service in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Work independently and as a team member, collaborate with referral sources, represent agency professionally.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
License Requirements:
- Licensed level: Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) license in Washington State. Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year (exempt).
- MHP level: LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSWA, LAAC in Washington State. Salary: $38.46 – $43.27 per hour (non‑exempt).
Conditional upon clearance by criminal background check and fingerprinting, compliance with policy on disclosure of outside employment.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday business hours; must work two nights until 7 pm.
Compensation & BenefitsWage Range: $38.46 – $45.67 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
Relocation Assistance: up to $5,000 for relocations over 50 miles.
