Annual minimum $199,445 – annual maximum $275,000. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Pro‑rated based on hours per week.

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c)(3) non‑profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.
The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Master of Arts in Medical Science, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities add another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five‑state region.
PNWU is located in Yakima, WA, a city of approximately 95,000 located in the south‑central part of the state near the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in a major agricultural and outdoor recreation region. The Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (VPEMSA) is a senior executive leader responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and oversight for enrollment management and student affairs functions orting directly to the President, the VPEMSA plays a critical role in advancing the University’s mission by developing and executing comprehensive enrollment strategies, fostering student success and engagement, and ensuring a high‑quality, student‑centered experience from recruitment through graduation.
The VPEMSA collaborates closely with the President, Provost, Deans, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), faculty, staff, and external partners to align enrollment and student affairs strategies with institutional priorities, accreditation standards, and financial sustainability goals.
Essential Job Functions- Provide executive leadership for enrollment management and student affairs aligned with PNWU’s mission and strategic plan.
- Develop and implement enrollment strategies including recruitment, admissions, retention, and graduation initiatives.
- Analyze enrollment trends, market conditions, and data to inform planning and forecasting.
- Oversee admissions, recruitment, financial aid, and enrollment operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee Student Affairs, providing leadership, planning, and policy development for all functions of that unit.
- Provide board committee administrative leads, reporting, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with academic leadership, faculty governance, staff council, and student leadership.
- Provide budget oversight and resource stewardship.
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff; promote a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
- Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a field that closely relates to the role. - Preferred:
Master’s Degree or higher in higher education field or related field.
- Required:
3–5 years senior‑level leadership experience in enrollment management, including admissions, recruitment, and/or student affairs. - Preferred:
Experience in recruitment and enrollment for health sciences or graduate education. - Preferred:
