Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist
Are you a dedicated internal medicine physician specializing in hematology and oncology seeking an impactful opportunity? Our multi-disciplinary community cancer center offers a dynamic environment where your expertise can directly improve patient lives. Be part of a collaborative team providing comprehensive care across radiology, lymphedema management, pharmacy, laboratory, medical oncology, and infusion services. This role is ideal for professionals committed to delivering continuous, patient-centered care Monday through Friday, with the infusion suite open seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized medical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Ensure continuity of care to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient education and support initiatives.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state/jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in hematology and oncology patient management.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Skills:
- Experience in community or outpatient cancer centers.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional certifications in oncology or hematology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
- At least 3 years of post-residency experience in hematology and oncology practice.
- Prior experience working in a community healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Full availability to meet the site's operational hours.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations if required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
