Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Independent Primary Care
Yakima, WA
We are building a new, independent, physician-led primary care clinic in Yakima and hiring our first PA or NP to help build it with us.

High autonomy, strong physician support, and time to practice real primary care.
Compensation & benefits- Base salary $120,000–$135,000, depending on experience
- Productivity and growth-based upside, with expected total compensation $150,000–$170,000 once your patient panel is established; 32 hours of clinical time/week
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
- CME allowance
- Malpractice coverage
- Licensing and DEA fees covered
- Paid time off
Compensation is designed to grow as the clinic and your patient panel grow, rather than being capped at a fixed ceiling.
About the roleThis is a full-time outpatient primary care position in a brand-new, independent clinic.
You will work directly with the clinic’s founder, a family medicine physician, manage your own patient panel, and help shape how care is delivered—from visit flow to clinical priorities.
We are intentionally designing a practice that values continuity, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and sustainable workloads.
Why this role is differentYou will be one of the first clinical hires in a growing, independent clinic. This includes:
- Direct access to the physician founder for mentorship and collaboration
- Real input into clinic workflows, systems, and care models
- Opportunity over time to grow into leadership, operational, or program-development roles
We are early, but we are serious about building a long-term, multi-specialty outpatient practice that serves this community well and treats clinicians like adults.
Who this is a great fit forYou may be a great fit if you:
- Are a PA-C or NP interested in primary care
- Value autonomy without being left unsupported
- Are burned out by corporate medicine
- Want a sustainable, long-term role
- Enjoy helping build and improve systems, not just using them
