Your ImpactThe Jacobs Yakima Washington office has an immediate need for a Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of projects, general office, and local leadership support related tasks.
This position will work 30-40 hours per week and requires the candidate to be present in the Yakima office during normal business hours at least three days a week. Successful candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, use independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges. The role involves evaluating situations and developing solutions independently to achieve assignment and task outcomes while managing one’s own workload.
Work may be complex, proprietary, and confidential, requiring strong administrative skills as well as excellent interpersonal and team communication skills.
- Catering – ordering, set up and clean up
- Planning and collaboration of events and meetings
- Ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- Partnering with local and regional leadership on Yakima events & tasks
- Checking and distributing mail and packages
- Reviewing invoices (both internal and sub‑consultant) for accuracy and ensuring timely submission
- Creating, initiating, and developing general project documents (i.e., spreadsheets, reports, etc.)
- Preparing expense reports
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of general office support
- Minimum 2+ years of professional work experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with project support is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $88,500.00; it will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
