Position Summary
The Shipping Coordinator will process work orders from sales team, allocate product. The coordinator will amend and confirm shipments.
Primary Responsibilities- 75% 1. Order Processing:
Processes work orders from internal sales team;
Allocates products to appropriate sales order;
Generates packing list and COA. - 20% 2. Shipping:
Amends and confirms shipments;
Completes reference pages for shipments;
Interacts with other departments (sale admin, etc.). - 5% 3. Other duties as assigned.
- Work a 40-hour work week, additional hours and weekend work may be required as business needs require.
- Must comply with all John I. Haas, Inc. policies and procedures, including successful passing of pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and be trained on procedures applicable to the requirements of the position, including managing significant quality, environmental, and food safety aspects.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Strong administrative, typing, computer and word processing skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Experience with office equipment and general office procedures.
- Time management skills. Experience successfully managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including ability to communicate in a courteous and tactful manner with co-workers and customers.
- Experience assisting customers and resolving issues while considering needs of both organization and customer.
Preferred:
- Previous shipping experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Familiarity with shipping using Fed Ex/UPS

Pay Information- Salary Range
: $39,760 to $59,640 annually.
This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location.
