The Jacobs Yakima Washington office has an immediate need for a Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of projects, general office, and local leadership support related tasks.

This position will work 30-40 hours per week and will require the candidate to be present in the Yakima office during normal business hours at least three days a week. Successful candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, use independent judgment, and have the initiative to take on new tasks and challenges. Candidate will need to use experience-based judgment to evaluate situations and develop solutions.

They work with minimal oversight to achieve assignment and task outcomes and manage their own workload. Work may be complex, proprietary, and confidential; and requires strong administrative skills as well as excellent inter-personal and team communication skills. Some examples of daily work may include, but not limited to, the following:

* Catering - ordering, set up and clean up

* Planning and collaboration of events and meetings

* Ordering and stocking supplies as needed

* Partnering with local and regional Leadership on Yakima events & tasks

* Checking and distributing mail and packages

* Review Invoices (both internal and Subconsultant) for accuracy and help ensure their timely submission.

* Create/Initiate/Develop general project documents (i.e. spreadsheets, reports, etc.)

* Prepare Expense Reports

* High school education or equivalent

* A minimum of 2+ years of general office support

* A minimum of 2+ years of professional work experience with Microsoft Office Suite

* Previous experience with project support is preferred
