Accounts Receivable Clerk

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accounts Receivable Clerk with prior experience in high-volume payment processing to join our First Fruits Team. The ideal candidate thrives on navigating challenging, complex systems, has a strong background in accounts receivable, and preferably possesses experience within the fruit/produce industry. Main responsibilities include accurate posting of incoming payments and managing customer account receivables.

• Cash Application: Process and post incoming payments (ACH, checks, wires) to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Invoice Resolution: Handle and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Month-End Support: Assist with end-of-month validation issues to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• System Navigation: Analyze input issues and answer questions regarding system input/troubleshooting.
• Customer Setup: Set up new customers and check/verify credit limit increases in the system.
• Invoicing: Assist with invoicing functions.
• Auditing & Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports for audits and provide support for audit-related data.

  Proven, prior experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Application.

  Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and navigate complex systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the fruit/produce industry is highly preferred.

  Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups) and Word.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, particularly with 10-key data entry.

• Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal teams and customer inquiries.
