Job Summary:As Director of Operations, you’ll take charge of driving operational excellence, advancing automation, and helping shape WCR’s success story. This is more than a leadership role—it’s an opportunity to influence growth, innovate through technology, and lead an exceptional team toward a smarter, safer, and more efficient tomorrow. You will spearhead cross-functional strategies, champion lean initiatives, and integrate robotics, automation, and 5S principles to maximize output, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement across our nationwide operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the charge on innovation by integrating robotics, industrial automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Develop and execute robust operational strategies aligned with the company’s short- and long-term goals, focused on continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and operational scalability.
- Drive lean manufacturing principles, including 5S methodology, to ensure an organized, efficient, and safe workplace that boosts morale and output.
- Oversee daily plant and service center operations—including production, supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, and quality assurance—ensuring high standards and seamless collaboration.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by analyzing KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering impactful performance enhancements.
- Foster a dynamic and inclusive culture of excellence, safety, and ownership among team members at all levels.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, customer specifications, industry regulations, and EHS requirements.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing operations team through coaching, mentoring, and strategic succession planning.
- Partner with senior leaders to guide transformational initiatives, align production capabilities with customer needs, and explore new business opportunities.
- Promote digital transformation and modernize operational processes through smart systems, automation platforms, and real-time performance tracking.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and continuously seek opportunities to improve profitability without sacrificing quality or service.
- Lead contingency planning efforts to minimize risk and ensure continuity across the supply chain and production environments.
- Ensure that customers remain at the heart of all operational strategies by delivering consistent quality, timely service, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

- Bachelor’s degree in related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment focused on automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing.
- Proven experience implementing 5S, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen initiatives with measurable impact.
- Strong track record of driving innovation, leading change, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of supply chain operations, ERP systems, production scheduling, and quality control practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to energize a team and build trust.
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
