Unified Talent Group is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Supply Chain to lead all core functions that keep operations running, including purchasing, planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and scheduling. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong teams, optimizing processes, and driving performance across the entire supply chain.

** This is an onsite role in the Dayton OH/Xenia OH area - relocation is not provided. **
- Strategic Ownership:
Lead all end-to-end supply chain functions from incoming orders to product shipment. - Executive Visibility:
Work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional partners. - Impact and Autonomy:
Strengthen capacity planning, inventory performance, and on-time delivery. - A Strong Team:
Manage professionals across purchasing, scheduling, customer service, warehousing, and inventory control. - Opportunities to Grow:
Contribute to long-term planning, continuous improvement, and major operational initiatives.
- Direct purchasing, material planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory operations.
- Develop and communicate plant capacity status to support scheduling and production.
- Improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance financial performance.
- Build and oversee a cycle counting program that ensures accurate material records.
- Mentor and develop your team while setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and key performance metrics.
- Support quality and engineering teams with corrective actions and supplier-related investigations.
- Participate in strategic projects, planning efforts, and process improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed on market trends, sourcing approaches, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience also considered.
- APICS or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong background in supply chain, inventory management, ERP or MRP systems, and capacity planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities.
- Experience with ISO, TS, or similar quality systems.
