Certification requirements for coaching once hired:
- Background check - fee $52.00 at the Xenia Board of Education (cash, debit/credit card).
- Coaches Tool Chest annual certification covering Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid for Coaches, Concussion Training, CPR Training, PBIS, Mental Health, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training.
- Apply for or submit a Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit through the Ohio Department of Education.
