This position requires on-call assignments as needed with ability for a 30 minute response time to hospital grounds upon notification.

How you ll contribute

A Maintenance Mechanic who excels in this role:

• Performs basic operational duties to include repairs, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and troubleshooting equipment in the general maintenance field.
• Provides advanced work in specialty areas such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. Maintains all refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have valid driver s license.
• Graduate of a 2-year college with courses in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance preferred.
• HVAC Certification strongly preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Handle with Care training required within 1 year of hire.
• Previous experience in blueprint reading, commercial plumbing, and electrical applications required.
