Nurse Practitioner - Psych Med

Position Summary: $5K Signing Bonus
Eventus Whole Health delivers an integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted‑living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and in‑house support staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide mental health services in accordance with Eventus Whole Health site‑specific protocols and consistent with the standards of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine as they pertain to long‑term‑care facility work.

Quality/Compliance

• High‑quality clinical experiences treating patients with all adult psychopathologies
• Independent practice with a psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs
• Supervision from a psychiatrist focused on time with you, not management of an independent practice
• Monthly case conferences, journal review, and multi‑year meetings for continued education
• Collaboration with primary‑care providers and psychotherapists within the same company
• Access to a psychotherapist available for up to weekly appointments for patients
• Medical‑assistant partner to aid in scheduling, charting, and administrative duties
• Integrated EHR for all lines of service

Qualifications / Education

• Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a current, valid license to practice nursing issued by the state in which you reside. All other certification necessary for duties must be current and valid.
• Or
  • Graduated from a physician‑assistant program accredited by a National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs.
  • Passed the national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Licensed by the state as a Physician Assistant.
  • Specialization in geriatrics, family, or psychiatry desired.
