JOB SUMMARY

The Sunnyside Lead Wellness Advisor will be responsible for advising customers (recreational, medicinal and caregivers) in selecting the proper cannabis products for their needs and act as an ambassador of the company’s mission to normalize, professionalize, and revolutionize cannabis. You will set the example in customer service, product knowledge, and state compliance to ensure a best‑in‑class experience. Lead Wellness Advisors assist in the onboarding and training of new hires and uphold adherence to state and company rules and regulations.

CORE

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Wellness Advisors in customer consultations, handling standard questions or complaints.
  • Educate customers on product selection and various cannabis products’ effects.
  • Apply effective selling and cross‑selling techniques to build baskets.
  • Verify proper documentation and  customers.
  • Perform cash handling, bag and receipt checks, and troubleshoot POS system.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities, inventory counts, security compliance, and sales floor organization.
  • Assist managers with merchandising, store organization, and product displays.
  • Onboard and train new Wellness Advisors, ensuring compliance with all policies and state/local laws.
  • Escalate employee relations issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Perform ad‑hoc store opening and closing procedures, registers preparation, and inventory reports.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1‑2 years of customer service experience; cannabis experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts that may include opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product‑related information in a professional consultative manner.
  • Understanding of cannabinoids and their interactions with the human body.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Pay Range: $17 – $17 USD.
