Summary of PositionTake heart and join the clinical Berks Cardiology staff in Wyomissing, PA. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Berks Cardiology, you will oversee the Prescription Desk handling verbal standing orders and medications, monitor lab orders and instructions to ensure accuracy, and assist the Vein Clinic by observing sterile procedures, medications, and techniques. You will also direct ambulance admissions and help ensure patient safety during admissions.
The Penn State Health Berks Cardiology team sees an average of 118 patients per day; prior experience in a fast-paced medical office is ideal. A background in cardiology/telemetry is a plus. Interested? Apply today!
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment, or holds a multistate LPN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
