Overview
Senior Financial Analyst – Performance Analytics plays a critical role in delivering actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This position focuses on analyzing performance metrics, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, administering Workday Adaptive Planning, and providing management reporting to optimize margin, resource allocation, and efficiency ratios. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of financial performance drivers, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business recommendations.
Responsibilities- Performance Analytics:
Develop and maintain a multi-dimensional view of organizational performance, including market and leadership perspectives; develop reporting and outlook for current operations and business lines; create and manage KPI reporting to support all aspects of organizational performance; deliver actionable insights to improve profitability, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting process by taking ownership of one or more key components; collaborate with business units to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. - Workday Adaptive Planning Administration:
Serve as an administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning, including model maintenance, user support, and troubleshooting; develop and enhance reporting and dashboards within Adaptive Planning to support financial planning and analysis needs. - Management Reporting & Strategic Support:
Prepare and deliver management reports that provide clarity on financial performance and trends; support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and recommendations; all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial analysis, performance analytics, or related roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business performance metrics
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is strongly desired
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
