General Laborer – Aggregates
This full‑time seasonal position requires travel with overtime during peak season. The role reports to the Foreman and has no supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will keep equipment and the job site clean, perform equipment inspections, maintain equipment proactively, and prioritize safety above production goals.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tasks on the mine site.
- Operate tools and equipment as needed.
- Complete pre‑ and post‑shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment.
- Assist in the field (moving equipment, shoveling, cleaning sites, and other miscellaneous jobs as needed).
- Operate a skid steer.
- Keep the crusher and associated areas clean and organized.
- Operate crusher machinery via a computerized control panel.
- Work inside the enclosed booth to oversee and watch the crushing process.
- Troubleshoot and communicate problems with the ground crew.
- Assist with maintenance, repairs, unplugging, shoveling off conveyors/screens, repairing conveyor problems, and greasing moving machine parts.
- Perform crusher machinery set‑up and take‑down, including running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal ویلي scope of work (e.g., work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
- Consent to authorization of a pre‑employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- MSHA certification preferred.
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Lift heavy objects, tear down, maintain, repair, and clean equipment.
- Equipment operation experience.
- Understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
- A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co‑workers and management.
- Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
- Overnight travelbagai not standard but may be required as site locations move.
- Ability to reach below, at, and above shoulder height.
- Pushing, pulling, twisting, bending.
- Sitting, standing, balancing.
- Operate hand and foot controls.
