Multi-skilled Electrician

We're looking for a skilled and adaptable Multi-Skilled Electrician to join our team. You’ll play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of a wide range of electrical systems and components. The role requires a solid technical background, the ability to work across different disciplines, and a proactive approach to health and safety as well as quality standards. Your work will ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely, keeping projects on track and to the highest standards.

• Carry out the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components.
• Diagnose electrical faults and provide effective solutions on-site.
• Carry out electrical inspection and testing tasks (including test forms).
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current wiring regulations and company standards.
• Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and other required documentation.

• Valid Residential Certificate and Permit (Permanent/Temporary).
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing).
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Valid UK driving licence.

• Strong understanding of electrical installation and fault-finding.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Health and safety focused, with knowledge of RAMS and safe working practices.
• Willingness to train in additional skills (some of which may be off-island, small courses).
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
