Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the heavy equipment attachments space, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to launch and grow their presence across the Midwest region
, including Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin
.

This is a newly created territory with strong upside. While a dealer network and active leads are already in place, this role requires a true hunter mentality - someone who can capitalize on existing momentum while aggressively developing new opportunities and expanding market share.

The ideal candidate can be based anywhere within the Midwest territory near a major airport and is comfortable traveling extensively to build relationships and establish the company’s footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and grow sales across a newly defined multi-state Midwest territory.
  • Build and strengthen dealer relationships while converting active leads into long-term customers.
  • Drive new business development and expand attachment sales across multiple equipment brands.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for all regional sales activity, including pricing and whole goods quotations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultative discussions based on customer applications.
  • Work closely with dealers to understand sales opportunities as well as service and support needs.
  • Assist with technical or service-related issues as needed to support dealer success.
  • Strategically plan travel to maximize territory coverage and time in market.
  • Represent the company at select trade shows and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal product support and leadership teams to support growth initiatives.

  • Proven success in regional or outside sales within heavy equipment, attachments, or related industries.
  • Strong hunter mindset with experience building new territories or expanding underdeveloped regions.
  • Comfortable managing a large, multi-state territory with frequent travel.
  • Ability to develop dealer relationships and convert leads into sustained business.
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to discuss machine specifications, applications, and attachments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be based in one of the territory states with easy access to a major airport
    .
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Midwest region and attend trade shows as required.
