Panda Express Back of House Team Member

Panda Express Back of House position is responsible for preparation of all of Panda Express's menu items which includes prepping vegetables, meats, sauces, and some dish washing by following proper food safety and Panda Express guidelines. This position will be tasked with keeping the front line full of fresh foods and filling in to spots wherever needed. This position requires working around high heat and a busy environment.

Our kitchen team associates are trained to maintain the highest standards of our food including the preparation and culinary precision of our menu offerings, food quality and safety and cleanliness of our restaurant.

• Prepare food items by cleaning and using proper prep techniques of bulk products for use in all recipes.
• Follow and make recipes to prep food items according to Panda Express specifications.
• Use sanitation and safety procedures properly and efficiently in all areas of the prep kitchen.
• Daily cleaning of the prep kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
• The ability to lift 25 lbs or more. with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Attend and participate in trainings and other professional development activity.

• High School Diploma and/or GED
• Previous food experience

• 1-year Commercial Kitchen Food Prep or Cooking Experience
• 3 years food service experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Good Communicator
• Respectful of others
• Time management skills
• Willing to learn new things daily.
