Ideal for individuals passionate about cooking and eager to gain experience in a professional kitchen, this entry‑level role involves assisting with food preparation and maintaining kitchen operations.

• Assist cooks in the preparation and service of menu items.
• Taste all the food on the line and make sure it is up to specification.
• Check and refill soups and other supplies during service to ensure sufficient supply is on hand.
• Ensure preparation always stays ahead.
• Pick up store room requisitions as required.
• Take and note meal breaks every day.
• Must be flexible and adapt to changes.
• Follow guideline requirement of our E.H.S. as well as proper disposal of oils at night.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Keep sanitation levels to company standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Help other departments when need arise.
• Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management.

You must be committed to superior guest service and quality standards. As a team member of your department you play a key role ensuring the team’s success and achievement of meeting and exceeding our guests’ expectations. Our goal is to receive a minimum of 88% on our guest comment scores.

• Conduct all duties in a friendly, courteous and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. Keep tables clear of debris and guest areas clean.

You are responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner. You must be knowledgeable of the company’s work safe policies and procedures.

• Clean station as needed to ensure all health and sanitation codes are met.
• Clean up on back line.
• Follow the principles of serve safe and participate in safe knife handling training.
• Ensure Serv Safe and HACCP Practices are followed at all times.
• Wear Safety Cut Gloves at all times while using sharp instruments—knives, slicers, etc.
• Usage of Personal Protection Equipment provided by the company.
