Data Assistant (Work Study)
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION- Wyoming Natural Diversity Database (WYNDD) offers the most complete information for Wyoming's species and habitats of conservation concern
- We serve federal and state agencies, consultants, and the public
- WYNDD data, analyses, and staff expertise contribute to effective strategies of natural resource management and more efficient compliance with environmental regulations.

JOB PURPOSEHelp with biological research and data management
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESData entry, filing, sorting aquatic invertebrates, and other duties associated with research and data management for species and vegetation communities of conservation concern in Wyoming. Many duties will be in a lab that includes sorting aquatic insects, pinning pollinators and other invertebrate related research. Chance for summer employment as biological technician.

Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the Spring 2026 semester and/or 25-26 Academic year.
An interest in wildlife, aquatic ecosystems, botany, and/or vegetation communities. All majors and backgrounds welcome.
