We operate 47 dining venues, including dining rooms, fast-casual, cafeterias, bars, employee facilities, delis and snack shops. Its high volume, fast-paced and fun! Almost half of the Yellowstone summer staff work for the Food and Beverage Operation! If you are interested in starting or enhancing your food and beverage career, the kitchen is a great place to start.

As a Barista, you would be responsible for combining skills that include great guest service and the ability to make hot beverages, including cappuccinos, lattes and espresso.

  Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

• Requires a combination of skills that include great guest service and the ability to make a good latte! Hot beverages, including cappuccino, lattes and espresso, are prepared using our sophisticated coffee machines.

• Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly:
  Service procedures, beverage and food menus as appropriate, comfortable using a POS system.
• Knowledge of brands, selections and recipes helpful.
• Computer experience and knowledge of ordering procedures.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation.

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
• Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
