Job Responsibilities- Responsible for the food and beverage operation of the assigned restaurant and assisting in the financial success of the assigned restaurant; adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements.
- Be knowledgeable of policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety; understand your specific responsibilities within these areas.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, service standards and assigned duties are performed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and professional rapport with all staff and guests.
- Manage and attain revenue goals for daily F&B and event operations.
- Purchase and control all beverage inventory; purchase and manage all supplies necessary.
- Adhere to NPS and Brand Standards; conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Become knowledgeable of all Food and Beverage items available and general information on GTLC operations and National Park.
- Conduct initial and ongoing training of all service staff ensuring that policies, procedures, service standards, POS operations and duties are performed correctly.
- Assist Manager in scheduling staff as business levels dictate; ensure labor costs stay within budget.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings with staff to review specials, concerns, and important information for the F&B Department.
- Work with Sales and Events team to review tour groups, convention groups and private group reservations.
- Ensure prompt, accurate service and anticipate guests’ needs; address guest concerns and complaints.
- Be hands-on; assist directly with food and beverage service as necessary.
- Ensure cash drop and receipts audit pack according to training standards at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with Culinary Team on menu concerns, service timing and special requests.
- Maintain payroll including tip and group service charge distribution and submit by deadline.
- Attend departmental and manager meetings as assigned.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures; organize staff incentives to encourage up-selling and maximize revenues.
