You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. You will support the overall operation of the employee village: dormitory housing for up to 525 people, laundry facilities, and a recreation hall.
You may assist Recreation in developing and setting up events when necessary.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of employee housing at the beginning of the season by ordering supplies, taking opening inventories and submitting maintenance lists for repairs needed.
- Assign housing to employees via Star Rez System upon arrival, and issue linen supplies, keys, etc.
- Assist with maintaining linen room for storage and exchange of linen and supplies.
- Assist with preparation of schedules for cleaning and office hours.
- Supervise and work with the employee village attendants who perform daily custodial and grounds keeping duties throughout the Employee Village. This includes a daily walk-through and inspection of the facility.
- Maintain and distribute mail for employees.
- Perform checkout of departing employees to ensure return of all items issued and satisfactory conditions of quarters.
- Assist with closing Employee Village at end of season, cleaning all facilities and stripping, sealing and waxing all floors. Prepare closing inventories and final reports.
- Be available for lockouts, phone messages, emergencies, etc. from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
- Conduct rounds as needed to prevent disturbances or infractions of rules. Work with Security to protect life and property.
- Assist with implementation of the company’s Hazard Communication program for the employee village by ensuring safe use of cleaning/chemical products.
- Responsible for cleaning up situations with bodily fluids. Personal protective equipment and training provided. Hepatitis B vaccine available.
- Work with employee residents to mediate disputes and/or housing or maintenance problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Recreation
:
- Co-manages the Activities Calendar for the employee population and assists with recreational activities recruitment and sign-ups.
- Leads a minimum of 1 weekly employee activity trip (shopping, hiking, outing, experience).
- Engages with Village residents daily to measure interest and impact of Rec Activities.
- Assists the Housing Manager in the development and implementation of recreational opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping, recreation, or an office setting preferred
- Prior supervisory experience
- Successful MVR
- Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Able to learn new computer programs
- Good communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, and management personnel
- Ability to maintain housing records, handle money and perform administrative functions
- Ability to handle Manager-Employee relations on a confidential level
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of extra-curricular, sports/outdoor or artistic activity is a plus
