Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer (preference for other modalities) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and be proficient in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent patient care and communication skills. The tech will work closely with physicians and other staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound (and other modality) examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and assist in the interpretation of results.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately document findings.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing any concerns patients may have.
- Keep accurate records of examinations performed, including patient history and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques related to sonography and diagnostic radiology.
- Certification in sonography, and/or other modalities from an accredited program is required.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferred.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, with a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Full-time, $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.
Location & RequirementsIn person at Sheridan, WY 82801. Ability to commute and relocate to Sheridan, WY 82801 is required.
