The City of Wyoming is accepting applications for the Police Cadet position within the Department of Public Safety. This role offers hands‑on experience in law enforcement and serves as a potential pathway to future careers in the criminal justice field.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of public safety non‑sworn duties and provide excellent customer service to community members.
- Represent the department by welcoming and assisting community members seeking police services.
- Provide support and assistance to sworn personnel as they perform a variety of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to departmental rules and regulations and follow tasks assigned by supervisors via oral or written instructions.
- Interested in a career in law enforcement or related field; eligible to apply for a part‑time position.
- Bilingual and multilingual employees may be eligible for the City of Wyoming Language Incentive Pay Program.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
