Registered Nurse (RN) - Sundance Clinic
Are you looking for a nursing role where your work truly matters?
We are looking for an RN who is passionate about providing excellent patient care to join our team. The Clinic RN will work closely with our providers to coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care according to physician's instructions and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Room patients and collect vitals.
- Ensure accurate charting in the EMR system in accordance with company policies.
- Willing to train/perform laboratory procedures, including venous and capillary blood draws; cultures and other specimens; urinalysis; throat culture; in-house rapid tests (e.g., strep, influenza, pregnancy, etc.); fecal occult blood test; finger-stick glucose; and any other lab requested by medical staff.
- Ensure exam rooms comply with OSHA regulations; manage medical waste; change bandages; clean and sterilize instruments and supplies; keep exam rooms stocked with lab and medical supplies and reordering as necessary; check medical equipment for proper functioning.
- Receive and conduct medical triage phone calls with appropriate documentation.
- Assist Receptionist with telephone, appointments, and other minor office procedures when necessary.
- Place referral calls when requested by a medical provider.
- Travel to other clinics as needed.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming (or compact state eligibility). Prior clinic experience is preferred.
Pay: Competitive salary with regular salary increases.
Shift: Monday - Friday, Clinic hours
