POSITION SUMMARYThe Cab Electrical Technician installs and maintains 12V electrical systems in a variety of custom assemblies and chassis units. As a Cab Electrical Technician, you’ll play a critical role in bringing these trucks to life by wiring the systems that power lights, sirens, displays, and communication equipment. This role is responsible for wiring and component installation in the cab, and chassis areas - including circuit modules, relays, diodes, and heat exchangers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the installation of engine and body harnesses and apply corrosion protection and weather sealing to ensure long-term reliability. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to solve problems and deliver dependable results.

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring is required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Knowledge of basic inspection tools, machining skills or related fields.
- Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment.
- Able to read and work from blueprints/spec book.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and tape measure.
