POSITION SUMMARYThe Cab Line Supervisor will manage the workflow, output, and schedule of the department. They will continuously improve production processes and team members’ development. The Cab Line Supervisor will take initiative to resolve issues quickly and escalate complex problems as appropriate while providing project and line status updates to management and the cab line team.

Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, and tape measure.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’s)The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Knowledge, Education, and/or
Experience:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- An Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, or any other manufacturing-related program is preferred.
- 3+ years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven ability to guide projects or mentor individuals is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience working in a production environment required.
- 5+ years of experience working in a production environment preferred.
- 1+ years of hands-on fire truck product knowledge from either a manufacturing or fire department perspective preferred.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude required.
Skills:
Language:
- Able to effectively communicate with tact and diplomacy at all times to develop relationships with internal and external contacts to provide excellent customer service and conflict management.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions and communicate new information that could affect project trajectories.
- Able to communicate goals effectively to a team.
- Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books.
- Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Math:
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer:
