Overview
On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1052) s role is On-Demand with flexible scheduling; you can work as much or as little as you like, with shifts posted by store leaders and eligible via the myTime app. You will be expected to attend a Welcome orientation and participate in short-term training before selecting shifts.
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.75 USD per hour

You should be proactive in engaging with guests and comfortable with multi-tasking and problem solving.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers the service standard.
- Greet guests, assist with their needs, and resolve questions or concerns.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, in compliance with safety standards and accuracy.
- Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Educate guests about current brand launches, store events, and promotions; promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
- Explain how to use Target Wallet and other app features; assist with order pickup, drive-up, and registry services.
- Handle returns following policies and escalate to leaders when needed.
- De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per Target policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
- Support cash office processes and maintain compliance with safety and policy standards.
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills; ability to interact with guests and team members in a welcoming manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adapt to different situations.
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services and engage with customers across channels.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and related technology; work independently and as part of a team.
- Cash handling experience and basic math skills; flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and to assist with stocking and merchandise movement as needed.
