Quality Technician - Wyoming Area

Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, maintain quality records, and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular calibration checks and maintain calibration records for inspection equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications, including GD&T.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC).
• Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong computer skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
• Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment
• Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software
• Internal auditing experience against ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
