Automation Engineer - Wyoming Area

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Program and configure industrial robots, vision systems, and other automated equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to automated production lines and machinery.
• Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all automated systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and processes into manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on automation systems.

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) including programming, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to design, implement, and commission automated control systems and electrical schematics.
• Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Proven track record in diagnosing and resolving complex automation and control system issues in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots).
• Proficiency in machine vision systems for quality control and process automation.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
• Understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms and data analytics for operational insights.
