Design Engineer - Wyoming Area

Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

• Develop and refine product designs, components, and assemblies using CAD software.
• Conduct design analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to optimize designs for efficient production processes.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes, incorporating feedback into design iterations.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design requirements, cost, and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA) for part and assembly design.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and material properties.
• Demonstrated experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Proven ability to analyze design requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective engineering solutions.
