Production Controller Security Clearance

Position: PRODUCTION CONTROLLER with Security Clearance
Location: Guernsey

Duties The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. (1) Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms.

(2) Ensures Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTO&E) or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) reportable Line-Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system management. (3) Programs workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis. (4) Ensures that unit Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness.

(5) Designates and maintains current maintenance priorities by Force Activity Designator, pacing items, Equipment Readiness Codes (ERC) A, B, and C equipment type, available funds, commander's priority, state/national priorities (in the case of floods, fires, and mobilizations), and unit supported.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must currently be a permanent or indefinite technician in the WY ARNG. Must submit IPPS-A STP and SF-50 with application. Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance. May be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Relocation Incentives ARE NOT authorized with this advertisement. PCS costs are not authorized in lieu of incentives.

Will be required to relocate at own expense. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES:
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT). Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position over 180 days will result in suspension or termination of these military incentives. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact the Wyoming Army National Guard Education Services Officer,  for more information regarding military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment incentives.

Relocation expenses will not be paid by the Government unless noted in the Announcement. Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a technician. Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f). 1. Position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.

An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
