Computer Lab Assistant

• Provide basic computer support and assist users with printing and software problems.
• Get paid to do your homework.

THIS IS A NON-WORK STUDY JOB LISTING. (If you have federal work study, you must apply using our work study application.)

• Provide basic computer support and assist users with printing and software problems.
• Troubleshoot account, quota, and email problems for lab users.
• Keep labs clean/orderly, collect lost/found items, and maintain records of print deposits.
• Can complete exams and optional training to earn raises.

Perks include: additional printing abilities, ability to do homework while on duty, on-campus employment, scheduling around classes (including 1 hour shifts), same schedule for whole semester, flexible time off, ability to pick up additional shifts beyond regular schedule.

• Shifts available days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. Those with availability between 7am and 1pm M-F or for shifts 11pm-3am or 3am-7am are usually given preference.

Other requirements:

• Knowledge of current consumer technology

• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office
• Basic computing skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions
• Work with cash amounts up to $100
