Campground Attendant – Vail Resorts

Campground Attendant – Join Vail Resorts and help guests enjoy the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This season‑long position offers competitive pay, on‑site housing, and numerous employee benefits.

Job Summary

Greets guests and assists with check‑in, assigns campsites, and ensures that all campground operations follow company policies, safety procedures, and environmental stewardship guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service to campsite guests.
  • Checks guests in, explains campground policies, and informs guests about park rules and wildlife safety.
  • Collects payments via cash and credit card.
  • Answers guest questions and educates them on park wildlife and bear interactions.
  • Follows company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Inspects grounds daily, removes trash, and checks for bear attractants.
  • Sells and stacks firewood.
  • Maintains public restrooms while the PA Attendant is absent.
  • Maintains guest and company records of reservations.
  • Balances cash and posts settlements to guest folios.
  • Arranges delivery of guests’ mail and messages.
  • Checks reservations blockings throughout the day.
  • Balances individual banks at end of shift and deposits cash receipts.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong verbal English skills.
  • Disposition suitable for constant guest contact.
  • Ability to lift, walk up and down hills, and bend without difficulty.
  • Ability to stand for an 8‑hour shift, walking between kiosk and parking areas.
  • Must live on-site in a fully self‑contained RV.
