Summary

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper with oversight of the Jackson Lake Lodge Housekeeping Department, training, coaching, and administrative duties. This role directs daily work, ensures cleanliness and efficiency, and engages guests to provide exemplary service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with oversight, training, recognition, coaching/discipline of housekeeping staff to build a productive team.
  • Perform administrative functions, including payroll, scheduling, inventory steps, and training logs.
  • Direct the daily work of Housekeeping Inspectors, Housekeepers, Housepersons, and Public Areas Attendants.
  • Ensure rooms meet brand standards via inspections and retraining.
  • Schedule work daily to meet efficiency targets, reviewing relevant metrics.
  • Maintain PMS accuracy for room status updates.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering to ensure rooms ready for guest check‑in.
  • Review guest feedback from surveys and adjust service delivery.
  • Handle guest housekeeping concerns and communicate resolutions.
  • Support department in meeting guest check‑in requirements; may perform all housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior housekeeping experience.

  • 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft
    365.
  • ктә familiarity with Property Management System platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Detail‑oriented and well‑organized.
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced environments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Commit to superior guest service and quality standards – team goal of 90%+ guest comment scores.
  • Protect the Grand Teton National Park environment through renewable energy, waste reduction, and wildlife protection.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work practices.
  • Collaborate with NPS and community organizations to enhance guest experiences (target: 4‑5 rating).
  • Manage payroll vs. budget and schedule accurate payroll.

The expected pay range is $44,000/yr. This is the range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Compensation is based on various factors.
