Patient Access Specialist

Crook County Medical Services District is currently seeking a Patient Access Specialist position for the Sundance Clinic. This position is responsible for the front desk operations of the clinic and is a key partner of the overall healthcare team.

• Will register patients and schedule patient appointments for the clinics
• Responsible for managing and responding to the clinic faxes
• Will answer phones in a timely and professional manner
• Responsible for keeping medical records up to date
• Will handle and log clinic payments
• Will complete outpatient sheets when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by clinic manager

Excellent Customer Skills, High School Diploma or GED required.

Previous receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred but not required.

• Demonstrates discretion and professionalism at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm
