Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant - Moorcroft Clinic

Crook County Medical Services District (CCMSD) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and make a lasting impact in the close-knit community of Moorcroft, Wyoming.

This position will provide high-quality, compassionate primary care in a clinic setting for patients of all ages with manageable patient volumes that allow quality time with each patient. This position will independently follow his/her own panel of general medicine patients, functioning as their primary care provider. You will also work with a dedicated staff that value commitment to rural healthcare and overall community well-being.

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for patients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assist role.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Facilitates the transition within and between health care settings.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Facilitates staff, patient and family decisions making and providing educational tools.
• Maintain all appropriate licensure necessary to perform essential duties.
