Location: Midwest
Assist the update of capital planning and management policy, methodology and procedures. Prepare capital management reports to management.
Perform longer term projection and related capital plan, issuance and redemption of capital instruments.
Support ALCO and monitor capital related ratios against relevant thresholds, analyze trends and variances.
Work closely with RMG and support ICAAP process relating to capital planning and management, stress testing and related documentation.
Work closely with RMG and support different kinds of stress testing in relation to capital management and maintain relevant procedures.
Support business units and analyze impacts of new products and significant transactions from capital perspectives.
Participate in ongoing maintenance of recovery plan in accordance with regulator’s guideline.
Support the preparation of risk appetite statement and risk appetite framework of capital and earnings. Monitor relevant risk profile and prepare regular reports for committees’ review.
Work closely with IT, external consultants on system implementation and regulatory compliance projects to ensure regulatory requirements are in place.
Support senior management and the team on ad-hoc analysis and corporate projects.
Provide miscellaneous support to the team, e.g. coordinate meetings for projects and ad hoc assignments, etc.
Requirements- Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines or a qualified accountant.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ALM or capital management, in banking, finance or audit is preferred.
- Strong accounting / treasury knowledge.
- Professional Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTMP) is preferred.
- Candidate with qualification of CPA, CFA or FRM will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Good analytical and communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Good Command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
