Job DescriptionAs a Senior Officer you will work within a small team to administer a portfolio of fund clients. You will be assigned a mentor, introduced to our clients, systems and policies, and responsible for day‑to‑day administration for a portfolio of funds, likely to include private equity and debt investment strategies. Specific responsibilities include:
- Support the administration of a portfolio of funds, including draw‑downs, distributions, investment transactions, investor reporting and financing arrangements.
- Assist in the delivery of core operational processes, including investor queries and other administration activity.
- Undertake additional one‑off projects such as client acceptance, entity establishment and the setup of client‑specific operational processes and records.
- Interact with clients, board members and third‑party intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, accountants both in person and via written or telephone communication.
- Process client payments on a variety of bank platforms.
- Contribute to timely and accurate bookkeeping and reporting for fund entities.
- Support the audit process and coordinate audits in line with client requirements.
- Work with the company secretarial team to ensure governance responsibilities and reporting operate smoothly.
- Assume client transactions as they arise with the support of the Engagement Manager.
- Assist with the preparation and collation of Know Your Customer and Client Due Diligence files.
- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
Most importantly you have a passion for building successful client relationships through teamwork and high standards of service. You hold a relevant professional qualification or are in an advanced stage of obtaining one, have relevant industry experience in a similar role, possess solid organisational skills and a proven ability to manage your own workload, and are a good communicator with a high level of energy and commitment.
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of IT literacy.
